Buick LPGA Shanghai 2024 (the “Tournament”)

Spectator Terms and Conditions

Any one by entering the Tournament venue, voluntarily and unconditionally agrees, and agrees on behalf of any accompanying minors (or persons otherwise incapable of giving consent), to accept and comply with these Spectator Terms and Conditions as below:

 (1) Spectator shall hold a ticket or pass to enter the Tournament venue in real name. The real-name information registered under spectator’s ticket/pass shall corresponds to the spectator’s personal ID certificate presented before entering the venue.

 

(2)   his ticket or pass must be displayed by the spectator at all times per the requirement of the Tournament organisers.

 

(3)   Spectator shall only be allowed to access the areas designated for public access. Except for players and persons designated by the Tournament, spectators shall not enter any Tournament area restricted to player access. The obstruction of access ways, entrances, exits, congregating in non-designated areas or seeking entry to restricted areas is strictly prohibited. The climbing of walls, fences, grandstands, television towers and buildings or any other permanent or temporary structures at the Tournament venue is strictly prohibited.

 

(4)  Minor shall enter the Tournament venue with prior consent from his/her legal representative. Minor’s acompanying adult shall be liable for the minor (including the minor’s physical and property safety), and shall take custody of, manage and restrict the minor and procure the minor to adhere to these Spectator Terms and Conditions.

 

(5)  The ticket      /pass must not be re-sold, nor given to other persons,

 

(6)   The ticket/pass must not be used for advertising, promotional or any commercial purposes.

 

(7)    he Tournament organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, destroyed, duplicated or counterfeit tickets/passes and may refuse to honour such tickets and the corresponding holder’s admission.


(8)  The spectator must comply with all rules, regulations, announcements and instructions displayed at the Tournament venue or given by the officials and representatives of the Tournament organisers. Any person will have his/her ticket/pass withdrawn, and may be refused admission to and/or removed from the Tournament venue if he/she:

 

·    violates any venue or Tournament health, safety and/or security restrictions or policies, or refuses to follow the instructions of authorized personnel;

·    enters the venue with others’ ID;

·    uses foul/abusive language or obscene gestures, or otherwise engages in inappropriate, disruptive, or illegal behaviour; or

·    brings, presents or disseminates any inappropriate or politically motivated information, objects or materials to or at the venue;

·    performs or carries out any conduct or act that is reasonably deemed by Tournament organizers a usual interference to golf games; or

·     breaches any applicable laws or regulations, or any of these Terms and Conditions.

 

(9)   All items brought into the venue by the spectator are subject to inspection. The spectator will be asked to remove any prohibited or dangerous items which includes, but is not limited to:

 

·    Laser pointers;

·    Helium balloons;

·    Weapons;

·    Baffies, shafts, long sticks, sharp item, long umbrellas with medal end tips and other items that may easily cause injuries;

·    Flammable and explosive items (e.g. firecrackers), lighters, matches and other ignition devices;

·     Walkie-talkies, all kinds of amplification equipment (including all kinds of speakers);

·     Pets/animals (excluding guide dogs); guide dogs must be kept on a leash under the supervision of their owners at all times;

·      Drones;

·      Any advertising, commercial, political or religious items whatsoever, such as banners, boards, symbols or fliers;

·      Other items as required by the Tournament organizers.

 

(10)  Donot ask for autographs from participating players while the Tournament is in progress. Any other devices which may distract or cause irritation to participating players and/or other spectators are strictly prohibited.


(11)   Spectator wearing high heels, slippers, jeans, T-shirts, vests or other clothing not consistent with the golf etiquette is not allowed for entry.

 

(12)  The use of drones (remotely piloted aircraft) at the venue or within 1km around the venue is strictly prohibited.

 

(13)   The use of any mobility devises other than strollers and wheelchairs in the venue is strictly prohibited, such as the use of balance bikes, skateboards, scooters, children's bicycles, roller skates, etc.

 

(14)  The use of personal transportation devices in the venue is strictly prohibited.


(15)  Mobile devices must be turned off or on silent at all times; flash may not be used.


(16)  Mobile devices may be used to capture video, audio and photos (“Content”) in designated areas only throughout Tournament week, unless the user is designated by the Tournament officials. Content may be used for personal purposes only (e.g., personal social media); no commercial use.


(17)  No live steaming or real-time coverage (e.g., no shot-by-shot coverage) on areas other than the interactive village, unless from persons designated by Tournament officials.


(18)  Data use (e.g., texting) is permitted in all areas throughout Tournament week.


(19)  Phone calls are allowed only in designated areas.


(20)  The date and time of the Tournament (and the opening of the gates) are subject to change by the Tournament organisers in their sole discretion.


(21)  The spectator grants irrevocable permission to the Tournament organisers, the LPGA and their respective affiliates and licensees to use the spectator’s image, likeness, voice, actions and statements captured at the Tournament in any medium, including without limitation, live telecast, social media, video recording or photograph in any and all media now known or hereafter developed (in whole or in part) for any purpose without further authorization or compensation, and waives all claims and potential claims relating to such use unless prohibited by law.

 

(22)  The Tournament organisers do not accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to property or injury to person in the Tournament venue, to the extent not prohibited by law.  The spectator voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to attending the Tournament and related activities, including without limitation, being struck by misdirected golf balls or golf carts, any falls on the Tournament golf course and surrounding areas, infection of any virus or disease, and actions of third parties, and hereby releases and holds harmless the Tournament organisers, the LPGA and any and all entities and individuals involved in the staging of the Tournament (including the participating players) from all liability to the spectator, his/her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore on account of personal injury, death, or loss or damage to personal, private, or other property and equipment, resulting from or arising out of spectator’s attendance at the Tournament.

 

(23)   No luggage storage is available at the Tournament venue. Please keep your belongings under your own custody. Safekeeping your personal belongings is your own responsibility, including protecting your valuables against any loss.

 

(24)   These Spectator Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of the Tournament organisers without notice to spectators.

Ticketing Terms and Conditions

By purchasing (including redeeming, same below) tickets and/or entering the Tournament venue, the ticket holder voluntarily and unconditionally agrees, and agrees on behalf of any accompanying minors (or persons otherwise incapable of giving consent), to accept and comply with these Ticketing Terms and Conditions as below, concerning the ticket holders, and any accompanying minors (and persons otherwise incapable of giving consent):

 

(1)   This Tournament adopts a real-name admission system. The personal information provided when purchasing ticket shall be true and accurate. Before entering the venue, for ID verification, ticket holder shall present his/her personal ID certificate that was provided at the time of purchasing the ticket.

 

(2)  For this Tournament, tickets for one-day admission and multi-day admission are both offered. One ticket strictly corresponds to one ID certificate only. For each Tournament day, only one ticket can be purchased and registered under one ID certificate for real-name verification. If a ticket holder has used his/her ID certificate to purchase a one-day ticket for a certain Tournament day, he/she can no longer purchase a multi-day ticket under his ID for admission that covers that day, and vice versa. If the ticket holder has used it to purchase a multi-day ticket, he can no longer purchase the one-day tickets for admission of the Tournament days included in that multi-day ticket. The ID information registered for each ticket must be consistent with the actual spectator that enters the Tournament venue with the ticket. ID certificates include: identity card/Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents/ Residence Permits for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residents/Passport/ Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents.

 

 

(3)  Up to 6 one-day tickets may be purchased with one cellphone number for each Tournament day, and up to 6 multi-day tickets may be purchased with one cellphone number for each multi-day package. Tickets for one-day admission shall be purchased at least prior to 00:00 on that Tournament day. Tickets for multi-day admission shall be purchased at least prior to 00:00 on the first day of admission.

 

(4)  The time-limit offers for early-bird tickets and concessionary tickets, as well as the regular tickets, are only available while stocks last.

 

(5)  Minors shall purchase tickets and enter the Tournament venue with prior consent from his/her legal representative.

 

(6)   Minors under age 3 are not allowed for admission. Minor ticket holder over age 3 (including) are not allowed for admission on his/her own, but shall be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult that is in the capacity of the minor’s legal representative, or authorized and agreed upon by the minor’s legal representative for such companionship (including complying with these Ticketing Terms and Conditions).

 

(7)   No ticket refunds or exchanges will be permitted; tickets cannot be exchanged for admission on a different day.

 

(8)   The Tournament is played ourdoors,  inclement weather such as rain, wind, thunder and lightning may cause delay and/or cancellation of some sessions of the Tournament on the day. The ticket holder has fully understood and agreed that no refund or exchange request can be made accordingly. If the Tournament on a particular day is cancelled in whole, ticket holder may request refund for ticket for that day, or if a ticket with multi-day admission is purchased, only the face value for the day of cancellation upon discounts will be refunded; the Tournament organizers will not be liable for any travel or other expenses incurred to the ticket holder due to the cancellation.

 

(9)   Ticket holder shall strictly adhere to this Ticketing Terms and Conditions and the Buick LPGA Shanghai 2024 Spectator Terms and Conditions, and agree to be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.

 

(10)  The only official information sources for the Tournament are the Tournament’s official social media platforms, official website and exclusive ticketing system provider, Juss. There are no other official information sources. Information from any other source may be inaccurate.

 

(11)  These Ticketing Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of the Tournament organisers without notice to the ticket holder.
